At the party, each guest is greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and a chocolate treat. You will enjoy the beauiful décor created by talented graphics designer Shirley Rogers just like a fantastic cruise ship. Walk the "Gangway" into our "Sail Away" party!
Stop by the various Taste Tables in the atrium hall to enjoy some delicious foods. Don't forget to vote for your favorite restaurant using the chips provided in your program as you sample the tastes of our fabulous restaurants.
The party will open with a jazz trio including chanteuse, Eugenie Jones. You will recognize Eugenie from her articles on fitness in the Kitsap Sun, working in the community through Kitsap Coummunity Resources, and as a part of the Est Bremerton Rotary but you probably didn't know that she is a singer too. Enjoy an hour of the soothing sounds of jazz as you browse the various party areas.
After jazz, at 7 and throughout the evening you can listen or dance to the music you enjoyed in 2010 from "Silverport Sound". This band will be playing the dance music including tunes from Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, and Tommy Dorsey.
The “Dueling Chefs” presentation in the Oyster Bay Room will be featuring teams of Naval Culinary experts will be preparing a tasty dish using the ingredients given in food baskets at the Bremerton Foodline. These culinary competitors will be both interesting and fun. Come to watch and cheer on your local naval command's team.

Our "Silent Auction" will be available for browsing before the main program with a myriad of unique items from local businesses and artists. Our "Live Auction" will be start at 8 with some tantalizing items for your bidding pleasure hosted by local auctioneer, Brian Orwiler. There's always some lively bidding so get your bidder number ready and join in. See your party catalog fo r information on these items.
"Wine Grab" - We will have a limited number of bottles of wine that you may purchase for $20.00 a bottle. Your purchase will pay you a good bottle of varietal wines and a chance for a collector bottle valued over $75.00 that will be on display at the party.
"Cruise Photo" We are planning to give you an opportunity for a photo of your "Sail Away" cruise experience. Dress in your finest party wear and smile! Stop at the "Photo" station and get your picture taken then return for your photo package. Can't cruise without a souvenier!
"Sail Away Cruise Drawing" We are currently selling tickets for this great opportunity drawing. Win a cruise certificate good for a fabulous seaview stateroom and cruise for 2 from Carnival Cruise lines! You will get to select your cruise destination from their vast selection of dates and destination. Tickets are on sale now from any East Bremerton Rotarian or the Bremerton Foodline at a cost of $10 for one or 3 for $25. Buy a winning ticket now or at the party and the drawing will be held during the presentations.
